What is UServeUtah?
UServeUtah is the state agency that manages the AmeriCorps State programs across Utah. UServeUtah was created by state statute in 1994 and has worked with AmeriCorps programs around the state to engage thousands of AmeriCorps members. UServeUtah provides oversight, technical assistance, and program development to programs. We also support members through events like the annual AmeriCorps Member Gathering.
why an alumni chapter?
AmeriCorps alums have experiences that unite you with others who have served and equip you with the ability to speak up about AmeriCorps. AmeriCorps members leave their terms of service ready to lead, make a difference in the community, and support each other. The alumni chapter will meet the various needs of AmeriCorps alums throughout the state of Utah. There are broad goals set for the alumni chapter, but each smaller network in the state can determine the best ways to meet the needs of all.
development of the chapter
Over the past few years input has been received from AmeriCorps alums about interest in an alumni chapter. The response for this type of network has been very positive. UServeUtah will help to facilitate the development of this chapter.
Right now another interest survey is available to alums so that the most up-to-date information from a large sector of alums will be available to develop this chapter. In addition, a brief leadership application is available as part of the survey for individuals interested in applying to develop the chapter and provide the initial leadership.

state-wide and regional leadership
The chapter will engage leaders who can oversee and support activities across the state. Considering the state-wide nature of this chapter, we also hope to have regional representatives for the various committees.
