Join Us for United in Service Week: Sept. 8-13, 2025

In a time when our world feels increasingly divided, service has the power to bring us back together. Acts of service remind us that we are more alike than different and that by working side by side, we can strengthen our communities while building meaningful connections with one another.

This September, UServeUtah invites you to be part of United in Service Week, Sept. 8-13, 2025. This is a week dedicated to uniting Utahns through service, remembrance and connection. Whether you volunteer, attend an event or make a pledge to serve in your own way, your participation matters.

Why United in Service Week

The challenges we face today, especially the rise of isolation and loneliness, are real and urgent. But history shows us what’s possible when we come together. After the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001, people across the nation united to help and heal through service.

United in Service Week honors that legacy by providing opportunities for Utahns to serve, connect and discover new ways to make a difference in their communities.

United in Service Project

Saturday, Sept. 13 | 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. | Clearfield

Close out the week by rolling up your sleeves alongside neighbors, community leaders and elected officials for our signature United in Service Project. This event will honor lives lost, heroes of September 11, and Utah’s military families. The event includes a memorial program with the presentation of colors, a performance of the Star-Spangled Banner, and remarks from local leaders. Whether you have a personal connection to the military or simply want to share your gratitude, your participation helps bridge divides, build community, and show Utah’s military families that they are seen, supported, and appreciated. All ages are welcome. Opportunities will also be available for those with limited mobility. Light breakfast items will be provided.
