the future of the community engagement network of utah
UServeUtah’s statewide listening tour and municipality surveys identified a gap in regional peer connection regarding community engagement. This proposed initiative serves to bridge that gap by establishing a professional association to develop & support individuals interested in advancing community engagement in their organizations. The network will come together regularly to interact with each other, learn together, build relationships, develop a deeper sense of belonging, and encourage mutual commitment.
The Community Engagement Network of Utah will launch statewide in 2022. Regular meetings and networking events will be hosted in the following regions:

Bear River Region
Box Elder, Cache, and Rich counties

Wasatch Front Region
Weber, Davis, Morgan, Salt Lake and Tooele counties

Mountainland Region
Summit, Wasatch and Utah counties
