Scott is the Training Coordinator with UServeUtah, and comes with a background in non-profits and public service. While studying sociology at Brigham Young University, Scott worked in circulation at the Provo City Library and as a Research Assistant. He later started his full time career with the American Red Cross, doing casework for victims of disaster and managing preparedness programs in Arizona and New Mexico. He spent several years training volunteers and AmeriCorps members to install smoke alarms, educate elementary school children, and prepare families for disasters. Scott later transitioned to a position with the State of Arizona, working to promote programs that support children from birth to five years old. He is happy to be back in Utah, and is currently enrolled in the Executive Masters in Public Administration program at Brigham Young University. He enjoys drawing pictures for his two kids, reading, and working for great causes like UServeUtah.
