Vikram was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, moving to Utah five years ago to finish his bachelors in strategic management. He served a two year ​LDS mission in Southern India and one year with AmeriCorps VISTA program in Salt Lake City. He has spent the past four years on grassroots efforts to improve digital equity for refugees, immigrants, and older adults in Utah, working with the Google Community Leaders Program and International Rescue Committee and now co-chairing Utah Communities Connect: Utah’s Digital Alliance. He is also currently pursuing a Masters in Education to further research and policy to bridge the digital divide in the state. Vikram believes in the power of technology in increasing access and improving volunteer opportunities across the state, especially for youth and young adults in Utah.
