Exploring Pathways on GivingTuesday

December, 2019

GivingTuesday is the perfect opportunity to explore some of the Pathways of Public Service and Civic Engagement! There are many ways to participate in Giving Tuesday, and every act of generosity counts.

DIRECT SERVICE: Give Time

You can give time as a volunteer for an organization or community effort you support. In addition to making a difference for your community, volunteering will also make a difference in your life! Finding the right opportunity can connect you with new friends, reduce your stress, and build your skills. Find a way to serve now on JustServe.org!

COMMUNITY ACTION: Give Voice

Your voice can make a difference. Use GivingTuesday as an opportunity to advocate for the causes and issues you care about.

PHILANTHROPY: Give Dollars

Donate to a nonprofit in honor of GivingTueday. You can use Charity Navigator to explore nonprofits and ensure that your giving supports nonprofits that are sustainable and transparent.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: Get your Workplace Involved!

Does your workplace match employee donations? If not, reach out! See if your workplace could support an employee giving program to expand the impact of your donations.
