Let’s talk benefits. AmeriCorps members can earn the Segel Education Award. This award can go toward future education costs or be used to pay off loans. The current full time (1,700 hours) Education Award is $6,095.
You can earn a living allowance while you serve. This allowance is paid throughout your service, while the education award is given at the conclusion of your service.
