Join us to beautify Blanding and restore the reservoir

Looking for a way to make a real difference in your community while enjoying the great outdoors? Mark your calendar for Friday, April 18, and join us for Beautify Blanding, Restore the Reservoir—a United in Service project focused on preserving the natural beauty of Recapture Reservoir.

From 1:30 to 4 p.m., we’ll roll up our sleeves, clear out trash, and create a more inviting space for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast, a passionate volunteer, or simply looking for a meaningful way to spend your afternoon, this is your chance to make an impact!

Why Join?
Protect nature – Help keep this stunning reservoir clean and thriving.
Connect with your community – Meet like-minded people who care about service and the environment.
Make a lasting impact – Your efforts will help ensure this space remains a beautiful, welcoming retreat for locals and visitors alike.

Who can participate?
This is a family-friendly event open to all ages! Volunteers under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and we’ll also have opportunities for those with limited mobility to get involved.

    What to bring:

    • Closed-toed shoes
    • Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
    • Sunscreen
    • Optional: Work gloves, shovels, 5-gallon buckets, and trash grabbers
