Bonnie has been a dedicated Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) volunteer for six years as of August 2021. She has served over 1,656 hours and traveled roughly 21,584 miles transporting clients to doctor appointments, grocery stores, pharmacies, and beyond. Bonnie has served approximately 20 clients during her years of service and is a great asset to the Uintah Basin community.
Bonnie never turns down a new client and continues to serve current clients for as long as needed. She can always be relied on to answer the call to serve at any time of day, and will do so with a smile on her face and love in her heart. Some of the clients she serves are facing difficult circumstances such as homelessness, disabilities that limit their ability to travel on their own, and/or limited or no access to a vehicle. Bonnie’s service meets critical community needs and supports those in need.
The Uintah Basin Association of Governments RSVP is fortunate to have Bonnie as one of their many volunteers, and they look forward to working with her for many more years to come. UServeUtah echoes this appreciation and thanks Bonnie for all her contributions in her community.

The AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP program pairs thousands of Americans aged 55 and older with organizations making change in communities across the country.
AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers who serve in our RSVP program choose how, where, and when they want to serve, with commitments ranging from a few hours to 40 hours per week. You can find an opportunity with any of the thousands of organizations we work with that see service as a solution to local, regional, and national challenges. AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers themselves report better health and longevity having served their community.
