Fond Farewell from Director LaDawn Stoddard

June, 2022

Dear friends and community members,

UServeUtah has never been just a job for me, but a large part of who I am and a great source of pride. That’s why it’s so difficult to share that after 10 years as Director and nearly 18 years total with UServeUtah I will be leaving the agency.

It is bittersweet to think about leaving a position that I absolutely love. I work with an incredibly supportive, innovative, and high-functioning board of Commissioners. I am inspired daily by a staff team with incredible talents, a constant drive for excellence, and a willingness to inject quite a bit of humor and fun along the way.

And I’m deeply motivated by all of you who are working to improve the lives of individuals and communities across Utah, your personal stories inspire me and touch my heart every single day. Working on behalf of UServeUtah has been one of my life’s greatest honors.

I am not going far, I have accepted a position working in a part-time capacity with the Utah Cultural and Community Engagement Foundation and am looking forward to a new challenge and new phase of my career (and some additional free time!).

Thank you for your continued partnership and support of our work. I’m so excited to see what’s ahead for UServeUtah. I have no doubt that it is continued greatness and it will be very exciting to see what will emerge in the coming months and years!

As I move into this next chapter in my professional journey I’m looking forward to staying in touch, cheering you on, and sharing lots of good news.

With gratitude,

LaDawn Stoddard

The UServeUtah team is so grateful for LaDawn’s leadership and the impact she has made on the Commission and the state. We are eager to see what she accomplishes in her next chapter supporting the Utah Cultural and Community Engagement Foundation.
